How the Maranatha application process works:

A prospective residents journey to Maranatha begins with an application. It is 18 pages long and covers just about every detail of a persons life. An applicant must also include a handwritten cover letter with their application.
All applications are read and prayed over. Each staff member makes notes or lists questions to be asked. If all agree that the applicant is ready to change, we set up a face to face interview. Normally, we will drive to wherever an applicant is incarcerated or housed. The face to face is almost always the determining factor.
We look for a genuine broken spirit. Someone that is willing to do anything, including trusting a bunch of strangers, to be set free. We can't help someone that is not totally serious.

There is no financial cost to the resident.
